Apple Mail

The following guide will take you through setting up an IDNet POP3 email account in Apple Mail.

You will need to know the following information:

Run Apple Mail, Click on the Mail menu and select Preferences.

Click the Accounts icon then click the + icon.

Enter the settings for your account.

Ensure that the email address, User name, Password and server names are entered in lower case with no spaces between characters. When this is done click on the Outgoing mail server field where it says None and select Add server.

You should now see the below window. Enter your outgoing mail server, when completed click OK.

From the account summary page select Continue and then Done. You will now be back at the Account Information page. Click the Window Close icon. You will be asked to save changes, click Save.

Congratulations. Your account should now be ready for use.
